We’re incredibly proud to have been a part of the Eden journey from its beginning when the China Clay Bodelva site was just a hole in the ground, establishing a brand vision with its own distinctive language and culture and working together with the Eden team for over 15 years.
In that time we’ve helped them transform into one of the world’s most innovative and thought-provoking global visitor destinations, capturing the spirit of the people, plants and place through the work we’ve created.
Creating a sense of place
From sustainable site wide signage, on and off line marketing communications to seasonal, regional and national advertising campaigns, we’ve helped Eden build a place that has real meaning to the thousands of local, national and international visitors that come every year. Encouraging a sense of community ownership and support, youth engagement, connection with nature, and economic development.

Telling remarkable stories
Eden is unlike any other destination. Using their unique brand essence and DNA as a benchmark, we’ve helped to tell the stories of their remarkable programme of events throughout the year to their primary audiences, as well as being able to extend to Eden’s wider programmes, with a distinctive and bold approach, providing a strong thread to a variety of marketing communications.
Throughout our time working with Eden, we consistently looked to find new ways of attracting new and repeat visitors. We’ve created innovative and inspiring communications across multi-channel platforms that have proved extremely effective and engaging with both the local community and tourists alike, with a long term vision that is still going strong.
Award winning campaigns
Our ‘Space’ summer campaign based on a lonely planet, family adventure holiday trip around the universe, informed the entire visitor experience. From local and national targeted marketing activities, the website, online engagement and onsite immersive experiences, to narratives and handouts, driving awareness and attracting more than Eden’s peak summer target of 228,700 visitors.
In its second year, our Dinosaurs Unleashed Beyond Extinction Summer campaign attracted Winner of the 2015 Travel Marketing Awards for Best Integrated Marketing Campaign. Both years’, our summer Dinosaur campaigns delivered unprecedented visitor results: with a YOY uplift of 15% in visitor numbers in year 1, increasing further to +20% in year 2.
It’s only natural
Sharing a belief in the importance of locality, sustainability and innovation, our site wide signage for Eden, made from locally sourced materials and suppliers, is an example of how we worked closely with the environment and the Sensory Trust to aid and not impede visitors’ enjoyment. We made use of natural recycled materials, which over time have become part of the landscape whilst sharing the story of plants.
Building the foundations
In the words of Eden, “the Eden Project guidelines are a guide to our look and feel, style, genre, what we are, what we do and the way we do things”. We produced a number of brand guidelines iterations over the years for Eden. Our latest version involved bringing together various elements which had already been written and designed into one updated coherent document for all the Eden team and stakeholders.
